Thank God for Playsets & Grandparents Who Help Pay For Them

We got Jake and Taylor a playset for Jake's birthday! Yes, his birthday is in June BUT I needed somewhere for them to play NOW! Grandparents helped get this huge thing and the kids and I are FOREVER greatful! We had all the grandparents over last night for a celebration and thank you dinner.

I am sticking in a few pictures from Easter as well. Tate was really sick so we just laid low at my folks house!

What Good Guys

If you happen to know me REALLY well you know about my undying devotion to the Astros. My father is purily to blame for this addiction since I was raised watching every game with him and enjoying every minute of it too! Also, if you know me well you know about my secret or rather not so secret obsession with Craig Biggio. AHHHHH that name is so wonderful! I also realized that Caden has his initials CB and since he is partly to thank for me having a third kid (a story for only those that are REALLY close to me to hear) I am feeling his frustration with this team. I am so mad. Get it together guys!!! My #7 has been on base several times a game only to be stranded there. They can not hit their butts with both hands right now if they tried!

OK---I have vented and am off to get ready for the opening pitch for tonight. Maybe they will read this and GET A CLUE!

Petting Zoo Day

My mom's school had the coolest petting zoo today! I had my Goddaughter Allison (AKA Gator) today so she went with us. The kids had a blast! Jake traumatized the turtles (they will never be the same). They had the cutest baby chicks that were Easter colors. Gator stayed by my mom and didn't really want to pet to many animals but she had fun. The animals were so calm and really let the kids pick them up and snuggle. I wonder if they were drugged?? I choose not to go there.

We then ended the day with a trip to McDonald's for more fun play time. I know Jake and Ali took the best naps ever! We missed Aaron though (he was in school Tate had the day off from hers). Enjoy the shots of these cute baby animals!

Good Times and Bad Times

Yesterday was so BEAUTIFUL outside! They said "if you have breathing problems do not be outside". Well, I didn't have the heart to tell Tate she could not have a picnic outside after she had gone to all the work to set it up. I said "oh well baby we just may end up on the breathing machine so let's make sure we make it worth your while in the process". We did!!!!! After a great day outside the BAD happened. Tate was driving Jakey's car and he was standing on the back (I know not the smartest parenting move but they were leaving me alone). Jake then falls off the back and hits his head on the tile (I felt real good about my parenting skills then). So, we snuggled with ice on our head and downed three bowls of grapes!

Me and My Boys

I had the sweetest moment last night snuggled up with my two boys. We were watching TV and just rocking away! I love those moments! The last shots are of Caden on the breathing machine! He is such an angel he even smiles through taking a treatment.

The Kids School Family Picnic

The kids had a blast! Tonight was their school picninc made fun with Chick-fil-a food (yummy), bounce houses galore and go fish! Jake was content to sit on the sidewalk and inhale his cupcake. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful school at our church and we are beyond greatful they blees our kids year after year! Taylor is so sad her time is almost up there! We had a blast seeing the kids teachers and friends and they slept really well that night!

My Smiley Face Man

I LOVE these shots! He reminds me so much of Taylor it is scary sometimes. He even has her allergies and asthma tendencies so pray that stops! He has been coughing ALL day and sneezing (who isn't I know). I am praying he sleeps it off!! Caden will be 3 months on Sunday I can not believe it!! His smile melts my heart! My sweet gift from God!

A Day At The Movies

Kimmy and I took the kids (yes, Gator and Jake included) to see Meet the Robinsons! Great movie and I would have LOVED to see the ending but thanks to Jake I was out in the hall. He and Gator did great until the last 20 minutes and they were done at that point! The movie was WAY over their heads and the short film (Mickey cartoon) at the beginning lasted way to long so they did well all considering.

We were actually the only people there at first and we were so excited because they could roam anywhere and no one would care. Then enters another mom with three kids one being younger than Jake and Ali so hey we are safe. THEN a 60 year old mom comes with her 35 year old son WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!! So, there goes my plan to let my kids run wild. After I let Jake run all over the bottom of the theatre he decided to move up and well I had to take him out screaming and kicking. When the man and woman left they gave me "the look". The look that states 1. I would NEVER let MY CHILD do that and 2. WHY would you bring a kid to the theatre BECAUSE IT IS A G RATED FILM AND HE IS ALMOST THREE YOU ARE 60 GET OVER IT!!!!!! OK I feel so much better now! Here are the kids having a blast!

Oh, I sincerely apologize Cinemark for the mess the kids left:)
