Caden's Big Boy Bed

New dresser

Sound asleep

New big boy bed

So, Caden is officially in a big boy bed. It arrived today and he is napping soundly now. I left the rocking chair in there so I could still rock him to sleep (not ready to give that up at all). He told me "No rocky I go seeps in bed". I forced him to be rocked:)

I then got him down and was so worried he would get back up. Taylor asked me if I would like her to pray with me over it. I was so proud of her!! I told her how proud I was of her for reminding me to pray even over the small things and then I wouldn't worry so. She told me she was going to love it when God answered the prayer and Caden slept great during nap and she was going to tell me "Told you so." REALLY! I told her she could tell me that any time when reminding me of how GREAT GOD IS! (but only then).

Here are the pictures of us taking down the bed, caden sleeping and Tate doing a few gymnastics for measure.

Sweet boy

Well, we are officially two weeks into summer and I wish I could say it has been just fabulous but I would be lying. They have fought like cats and dogs my gosh! Caden now is old enough to add his two sense and he tattle all the time..."mommy, Taylee pushed my tummy!" Never mind he is upstairs and she is down. I am keeping an eye on this little turkey:)

So, we have been super busy this week is VBS! The kids are having a blast and so am I. Especially since my official role is "coordinator". Coordinator of what you ask NOTHING. But, I sure have a cool title. Thanks to Brigitte who knows me well enough to not put me with the kids (my rule I will do anything you want from changing the toilet paper rolls to anything as long as I am not with the kids). It is just not my gift and I am woman enough o say it and save all of us from lots of frustration! So, I am basically a gofer running here and there and I am having a blast!!

Us with Jakey after graduation

We are full throttle into swim lessons, gymnastics, VBS, reading class for Jake and still squeezing in good old allergy shots for Tate. She has gymnastics camp next week to work on her stuff for her meets in the fall and is really excited!

I am posting a few pictures from Jake's Pre-school graduation (we are holding him back so he will get to graduate again next year with his Bridge class), T-ball party and Taylor's End of the year picnic.
