Lunch Date With Daddy

We met Michael yesterday for lunch at Mytie Burger!! BEST PLACE for burgers. We have both eaten there since we were wee little ones and now get to take our kids. Tate was so jealous we went. jake was cranky becuase we had promised him a trip over to the fire station next door (he even brought his fireman outfit from Halloween) but it was closed for repairs:( We will go back in May when it is up and running again! Caden had a blast and just wanted to drink Jake's milkshake....he is definatley one of our kids. His face would crack us up. He would look at me before he took a drink and then focus down on the straw! My dad went along and we had such a good time! Newsflash........Caden is officially off the bottle HOORAY!!!!!!!!! Wed. he started taking his milk from the cup out of the blue!! Mind of his own I tell ya! I threw the bottle rack away and was SO HAPPY to get it off my counter!!

Tate riding her bike

Taylor is FINALLY beginning to master riding her bike with no training wheels. She had us take the wheels off oh...two years ago, but developed a fear of falling off the bike. Last weekend she finally made the curve and does well in the field but freezes up on the concrete!

Divas Wanted

Tate had an awesome B-day weekend. her party was Saturday and we had a "Diva party". Taylor is into being what she calls "fashion". I had soem of my girls from the Bible Study I lead come and do make overs on the girls (super fun and so much cheaper than the mall). They loved it. FYI...if you are anal like me NEVER by hot pink boas and have seven girls jam to Hannah Montana in your living room. I have vacuumed twice and still have pink feathers everywhere.

We served donuts and fruit (her choice) and had a cool cookie cake. WE had a hair station, make-up station and nail station. When Cata started Tate's hair she had to do it over twice because it was NOT fashion enough for her. End result she was SUPER happy about! Oh and Trevor came he represented the "male" population. Tate had a NO BOYS rule but she LOVES Trevor and was so happy he got to cuddle with her. His blanket ended up with pink feathers all over.

I am EXHAUSTED from the weekend festivities!

Happy 6th Birthday

WOW!! I can not believe Taylor is "6" today! She had a great day! She was woken up by mommy and daddy kisses and fed a yummy breakfast of cinnamon toast (per her request). She then headed off to school where I met up with her later for a little birthday lunch. Sad to say this is the first time all year I have eaten with her BAD MOMMY! She kept hugging me and telling me how glad she was I was there. She also kept asking "Can you believe I am SIX? I think I need to pinch myself to make sure it is real?" We then had all the grandparents over for a feast! I made her favorites homemade lasagna and banan pudding! She got clothes/$$/IPOD (from me and her daddy)/puppy in my pocket(from her bubba's).

Catch up

YEAH!!!!!! My new USB cable is in. Here are some pictures from Valentine's Day (we had pizza by candlelight). Sorry no pictures of that! My dad and Jake snuggling and I got some beautiful flowers. Wee Puppy's First Steps

Caden took three steps last night HOORAY!!! Of course was I here to see it happen NOOOOOOO!!!! I am only with him 20 hours out of a 24 hour day but while I was at gymnastics with Tate he walks for my dad! He did walk again a few times last night for us. It won't be long!!!

Stronger Woman

New song by Jewel called "Stronger Woman"! Cris....you will love it! Michael sent it to me today go to itunes and listen to it LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! Off to get Tate and head to gymnastics!

Oh...got new haircut and color today! WAY to much gray in this head of hair....thanks alot mom!!!! Dody fixed me up per usual and now I have officially become a high maintenance haircut!

ER Visit once again

OK...this is just ridiculous! Yesterday Jake and Tate were playing and somehow she hit her
"va-ga-gay"(yes she will kill me for this one day). She said she hurt herself but never cried and we went on throughout our day. Last night my folks came for dinner and we had given the kids a bath and settled in to play a game when Tate went to the bathroom and came out complaining how bad it hurt to go to the restroom and there was blood! HELLO!!!!!!!!!! I stayed calm but was ready to cry and my mom and I took her to the clinic at the front of my neighborhood. ...God planted that clinic there just for us and I should have my own room there since I have been there with all three kids in the last 2 months! Anyway and luckily she just cut the inside and will be fine and needed no stitches! So...we are having issues in the bathroom but she was a little better this afternoon!

****One normal week PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about no pictures

My darn USB cord is broken UGH! I think Caden chewed on it and ripped it out of my camera! So....my camera has a very hard to find USB cable that I just bought for $50!!!!!!!!! I am gluing this one to me! Pictures to come soon!

What a Week

I am just laughing becuase I am delirious I think. I really have no control over my emotions right now I am that tired. Tate had asthma issues last week leaving me sleepless and Jake started up (has bronchitis) and poor thing has had roughly no sleep or crappy sleep for 4 nights. He coughs every breath. Today the meds kicked in and he is so much better I am praying he sleeps all night and does not make his nightly appearance in my room (he shows up to "cuddle with me" about 4AM every day). I have really felt bad for him he has slept with us and coughs ALL the time. I have not slept thnaks to that little fact. He went back to school today and asked me as I was leaving him "What if I miss you today?" My heart was aching as I left him. For one moment I wanted to scoop him and and run home and then reality hit and I pushed him in the door and fled!

Caden is also sick (of course). I took him in yesterday and of course was told it needs to take its course. (did not see my pediatrician of course) I wanted to scream becuase when that happens with him it is never good. So today at our ENT check up we find a bad ear infection and his poor cough kept him up all night! No sleep again! My ENT rocks! I truly have the best doctors around. Monday C and T had astham doctor appts. with Dr. Z HE ROCKS and later that day jake saw Dr. Taylor and yesterday caden was at the doctor and todat we saw our ENT Dr. Davis WHEW!!!! I hope we are done for awhile. She took one look at me and said who needs meds you are him I love her! I swear My ped, asthma doc and ENT should be invited to Sunday dinner. I see them more than my family! But...God has blessed me with awesome doctors who take great care of my kids who keep them well paid!

So here are some shots of two of them on the machine (couldn't manage a shot of caden who is on the most and two different types). I did get a picture od Cadne and me dancing in the kitchen amazing at how happy he is threw his coughing and snot!

I am going to Book Club tonight and am so thankful!!! I can say I am just thankful we do not have the flu like evry other household around here! Knock on wood!!

42 Bottles of Beer on the Wall

YES!!!! That is what I sang to Caden tonight to get him to sleep! and yep I started with 100! Caden and Tate now have to breathe twice a day (plus Caden has to also breathe a medicine for his lungs) on this new machine for their sinus's. I can say I have noticed a HUGE difference with caden and that is why I spend 15 minutes twice a day doing this! But, Caden HATES it. So...I sing and tonight he was extra tired from a bad nap and I had sung everything under the moon to him and "100 Bottles of Beer" popped in my head (probably becuase I could use 100 bottles of beer). He was asleep by 91 and Michael's cell phone rang UGH! But, he never cried and I kept singing. He then passed back out by 74 and Tate came crying at the stairs (is it a full moon under these clouds??) He finally was totally out by 42 but never cried as long as I sang!

I will make sure to tell them in the nursery at church to use that when he gets cranky!!
