Dancin' Dancin' Dancin'

Well...Tate had her first dance recital this weekend and she shaked her stuff and had a blast! She was going to take a break from dance (she wanted to try gymnastics) but after being in the lime light she has decided she loves being famous on the stage. She also wants to keep dancing with her best friend Tara.

She was a real trooper though because her asthma was, and still is, in high gear.

What Are Little Boys Made Of???

Well.....Froggie Tales of course!!! Today Jake found a friend in the backyard! A FROG!!! He terrorized this poor thing until it found its hole and would not come back out. Ever since Jake is constantly going on a froggy hunt. I swear if the frog was brave enough to exit the hole when the back door opens he speed hops back in it!!! I am sure this will be the child I find a frog in his pocket when doing laundry!!!

It has been awhile!

Sorry it has been awhile! Now that the kids are home all day and nap free mommy time is a thing of the past. I am working hard to find some! My sweet MIL (a momma of three as well) gave me the best idea. The kids have to be good in the morning and give mommy her 1 hour of quiet time. They can watch a movie or play in there room BUT are not aloud to interact with me:) Then they get 30 minutes of alone time with me and we can do whatever they want. Jake and I EVERY DAY play the Elefun game. WOW I have chased more butterflies than I care to count. Tate and I read, play a game and last week she learned how to tie her shoes in our 30 minutes of fun! It really is sweet time!

Graduation Day

Yesterday was Graduation from pre-k for Tate and the last day of school for her and Jakey Boy. That makes me sad on so many levels. One, I am not ready for summer and two, that means we are one step closer to startng K next year! I can not believe how fast time has flown. It seems like just yesterday I was taking her to MDO for the first day and now she is done! No more church pre-school!!!!! That makes me very sad. I love our pre-school and am just glad I have two more kiddos to go through it:)

The night before graduation I watched the series finale of Gilmore Girls and cried my eyes out! I then went and sat at Tate's bed side crying over how fast time has gone. As I sat there she morphed into this twenty-something lady and I got a vision of the night before her wedding day. I was bawling at that point! She is growing so fast!

The day was perfect she came home with me and after I did zumba at the YMCA we got some special time before Jake came home! Now, summer begins!

Stylin Wee Puppy

"Wee Puppy" is Caden's nickname in our house! He had a rough day today! Today was the day of his tear duct probing:( He handled it about as well as can be expected. They strapped him down on a board in a straight jacket thing and then probed his eyes with needles! So, I do believe he will sleep well. Tomorrow we get our 4 month shots. Bad Week for the Wee Puppy.

On a brighter note: We got Caden his first haircut (I know no more Donald Trump comb over). Micahel has been BEGGING me to do this and Mrs. Shirley talked me into it. He slept through the whole thing!He looks so cute and so much like Taylor. His roots are BLONDE!!!!! So, he looks really different!

Stormy Nights

Michael is out of town and Taylor always sleeps with me when he is gone. Last night the big storm hit and down the stairs comes sweet Jakey Boy. So, I said what they hay!!!!!! We piled into bed and had a sweet sleep over. Even Maci cuddled up! We all slept so good and LATE YEEHAW!!!!!!!!!!! Caden was the only puppy missing!

First Cereal

Caden had his first taste of cereal about 2 weeks ago. I know this blog is a little late! He LOVES it. He attacks his feedings with such force it is hilarious! He is a good eater like his Big Sister.

I know the cereal was a little early according to the famous doctors. BUT, he was starting to wake up and be really hungry at like 2:00am. From the night he started eating this he has slept through the night, as my son would say WOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
