The Sweetest Hubby EVER!!!!!!!

Well,

My sweet hubby sent me an e-mail about one week before my birthday that said...reserve August 10th..you and me....I will be home early be ready to leave at 3pm the kids will be gone by then! I was so excited!!!!!! I LOVE surprises and HATE them just as much because I become this little detective on the hunt to uncover the surprise! He kept this under wraps I had my suspicions but was never 100% and I usually always figure them out (what to go babe). I was always the kid who knew what her Christmas gifts were before Christmas Day just by lookingat the shape of the box!!!!

So, yesterday arrives and we are ehading out in the car and I have no clue what we are doing and he keeps having me guess...my only guess....ASTROS GAME!!!!!!! BUT, I knew it didn't start until 7:05. The surprise was........he wanted me to get to meet Biggio WOW!!!!!!! He put out so much effort too! He called several people on how to make this happen and the only way was to get the right spot at batting practice. So, we trucked out to Minute Maid and waited in line for one hour (in the heat). We then ran in and got the perfect spot BUT....we learned very quickly that Biggio does not come to the fans anymore. And before you think how rude....he has paid his dues. He came out for batting practice and ran right back in the dug out. Michael was SO disappointed. I was SO thrilled to see him at batting practice and most of all for the effort that my sweet hubby put forth to make this happen. You should have heard him talking to anyone and everyone to try and get me to meet this guy! What man would take off early, run in the heat and try and make his wife meet what he called "her main squeeze". MY MAN!!!!!!

Oh, news flash honey YOU ARE MY MAIN SQUEEZE!!!!

I had the best time!!! We had the BEST seats off first base and the right field line. 5 rows up (Thanks Flynn!!!!!!!!) The only bad part about the seats in we are in major foul territory and a kid got hit by a ball in the first inning so please pray for him!!!

Oh, Biggio got 2 hits (don't pester me with details on how he could have saved the game two times and struck out details people). Michael would run down to the fence and take pictures for me when he was on base. He was my super man last night. Unfortunatley we realized how bad our camera is as we compared photos with the person in front of us so I will be spending the rest of my birthday $$ on a new camera any pointers???

Tate knew where I was going and told me I was going to SCREAM!!!!!!! She then told me I was going to a camp fire I said I would scream! After I called her when I knew where I was going she said "Mom, it will not be the end of the world if you don't meet Biggio." So grown up!

So, thank you honey! I love you so very much and had the best birthday EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bath Time

Taylor has discovered showering and privacy this past week! She now showers all by herself and even can draw the water and HATES for anyone to come in during her private time! So grown up!!

So, now the boys are bathing together which is really nice that I have only two to bathe instead of three! Here is the boys hanging together in the tub. Caden loves being in there with his big brother!

Sunday with Nana and Pops

Last Sunday Nana and Pops took the older two after church for the WHOLE day! HOORAY!!!!!!!!! They got drinks from McDonald's by church (because it was to ealry to eat). Then they went to Nana's to change clothes and relax a bit befroe they headed out to the Aquarium store to look at the fishes. It was closed BUMMER!!!!!!!! They then went back to McDonald's for lunch where they played for almost 1 1/2 hours (that's right wear them out good). They then went back to Nana's and relaxed before heading to her neighborhood's splash pad and then back home to bake cookies and then home to me good and tired!

Knockanole

Jake was HILARIOUS tonight. We have had the best low-key day and decided to grill out hamburgers with the kids. Michael went grocery shopping today and I had him on the look out for pre-made guacamole. My friend Amanda made the BEST mexican dip the other week for my high school bible study girls and the guac was awesome in it. When I asked how she made it she said it was in a bag at Kroger by the bagged salads. So, we got some today and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Jake has takin' a likin' to the "knockanole". He was shovin it in a t a rapid pace and I look over and he is chasing it down wiht Michael's beer. I was laughing so hard and instead of yanking the beer away (as a fit and good mother would do) I grabbed my camera. You will see Jake holding on and daddy trying to do the responsible thing and take it away (I am yelling don't take it yet I need a picture)!

Happy Birthday To Me and my Mom

Happy Birthday to Me and my sweet Momma!! Yes, we share a birthday and it was Thursday! I started the day taking the kids to the doctor (go figure). Then got my hair cut and highlighted (much needed). Thanks to my sweet pops for keeping all three kids for a LONG time so I could do this! Then Michael and I went and worked out at the YMCA and we all dined on Chick fil A for dinner! Michael's sister baked me my favorite cake (strawberry with cream cheese icing).

Last night Michael's other sister kept all the kids while we had an adult only dinner with my folks and my brother at Americas YUM!!!!! This weekend we are laying low and relaxing. Our neighbors are out of town and they sweetly let us use there pool so after lunch we will be doing that.

Next weekend my sweet hubby has a surprise night fo me for my birthday and I am SO EXCITED about it!!!!!!! I don't even care what it is. He planned it and planned for child care HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
