Time to Say Good-bye

Saying Good-bye to a Class Act!

You knew this was coming! I have just been in denial most of the week! What a classy guy. When I look at my sons (who of course are destined to play some type of pro-sport) I want them to model this guy. The guy who gave everything to the game. The guy who is strong in his faith and is a family man. A guy who will retire this once and will truly BE DONE (Roger).

I cried during the press conference when he gave his wife credit! What a woman. She has three kids and is basically a single mom most of the year. I have three kids and throw a fit if Michael is gone more than one/two nights! I have to go see one more game this year and I am sure my hubby won't let me down!

The thing that ties me most to this man is my Dad. My dad loves baseball (as did my Paw Paw and Granny). They never stopped watching because we were having a crappy year they just yelled a little louder. I have inherited that from all three of them. I have fond memories of watching games with my dad from when I was 5 and up! There was never a time I can remmeber watching without Biggio. I will miss that the most.

You need to hang with your Aunt Debbie more - you can her can be crazed Astros fans together. She loves the game as much as you do!!!

It will be weird to watch the Astros without Biggio and Bagwell!

Those were some happy memories. Just think you are making those same happy memories with your children and sweet hubby now! Keep your faith, because some will be more trying than others.
