Aggie Game Day

This weekend was the beginning of College Football Season and Michael's favorite time of year. We took the kids to the first Aggie Game and had the full Game Day experience. Jake had never been to "Aggieland" so this day was extra special for daddy. The kids were up at 7:00AM ready to leave for the game! We did not actually leave until 1:00PM. But they were super excited.

We did the kids fan zone with games and bouncey things. The kids had lots of snacks and then we headed over to march in with the band. That was very exciting for them. We then stopped and ate dinner before heading into the game. It was so HOT!!!
The game was interesting. Michael gave up his season tickets this year so we had purchased half price seasts in the bleachers in the end zone. This was actually awesome. There was a huge grassy area below the bleachers and we spread out blankets and watched the game on the big screen while the kids relaxed. It was super fun and so relaxing. That is after Jake got over the low fly over that about took our heads of and the noise from the cannon and the crowd. he was shaking in his shorts poor guy.

He cried and was ready to leave right then. But, after we took a rest on the grass and got him a diet coke and some popcorn he made the turn for the better. The kids got to be on the field during half time and even got to shake the players hands as they came on and off the field. Taylor was doing all the cheers and having a blast! We left at the end of the 3rd quarter and they would have made the whole game but mom and dad were beyond exhausted!

I'm glad they had fun and made it through most of the game!
