OK....This past weekend Karen Kingsbury did an event in Houston and I got to take care of her. If you do not know who this is let me inform you....She is my FAVORITE Christian Fiction author. If you love to read and read about real life and how God is active in "real life" then go to the nearest Christian Bookstore and read her books. Start with the Redemption Series (my favorite). She is an amazing woman.
I had the priviledge of meeting her two years ago and having lunch with her then. This time our AssociatePastor and my Spiritual Mentor Lynda (I love her) had classes and could not pick Karen up from the airport, take her to dinner and to the event and back to the airport so she asked me to. Of course I was more than willing. Michael and I got to take her to dinner Friday night and I was so excited Michael got to meet her. He was also so excited for me that he kept the kids so I could be with her.
She truly blessed me and I enjoyed our time together!
