Bench Family = Staph

Yes friends we have it again. Taylor is the lucky girl this time with a staph infection right below her butt pockets in the back towards her inner thigh...GREAT PLACEMENT. She came home from the gym Monday night complaining of a bruise and when we looked oh what we found. I took her in Tuesday and they just started her on the heavy med's and said keep up the soaking in the tub. She went to school yesterday only to call me by 10AM in bad pain. So, I picked her up, took her for her allergy shot (where she did not shed a tear and informed me I don't need to go in there with her anymore) and then we relaxed at home and watched "Raise Your Voice" until her doctors apt.

Thank goodness Nana met us there and Angela kept the boys b/c folks it took us all to hold her down. She was screaming this..." HE IS KILLING ME!!!!". Brother did I feel bad for the poor Mama in the next room. I am sure her kid was ready to hit the pavement and get out of there fast thanks to sweet Tate. The doctor was very sweet and as gentle as one can be while taking a small scalpel and slicing a whole to drain the boil. He then proceeded to squeeze the stuff out.

So, last night my mom brought her a happy meal and Angela took Jake and Maddie to soccer practice and brought Tate a chick fil a milkshake and that was all it took to put a smile back on her face. My kinda girl fix it with some food. Bad news is it doesn't look all that much better today. She came home crying with a very bad headache (she is worn out) and after a good long soak in the tub and a good dose of Motrin is a little better. She is staying home from the gym tonight because it still really hurts to touch. We have an apt in the morning and I am afraid they are going to have to repeat the procedure. So, please say a prayer for her, us, the doctors and for the poor kid they stick next door to us!
