The Turkey

WOW! We had a great night. Taylor was a sassy witch, Jake was a Ninja Turtle (minus mask and shell)...he would not where them so he was the shell less turtle..and Caden was a spider. They were so excited as were we. My mom, brother and his girlfriend Jen came along as well. We started with pizza and then Michael packed a cooler with drinks for the kids and some adult beverages as well. We even hit a house that was serving beer to the parents AWESOME! It reminded me of my dad. This was his favorite night when we were kids. He sat in the front yard serving homemade sangria to all the parents. We were the first house on everyone'S list and the last too.

Caden had a blast carrying his little bag to the doors. My camera battery died so I didn't get any pictures once we left home. We went out with two other neighborhood families like we always do. It was hilarious, Caden thought when people opened the door that was his invitation to enter their house. We kept having to stop him. One time he got away from his daddy and when daddy looked up he had gone in this lady's home and was just sitting on the bottom step of her stairs! So funny! He made himself right at home. He got tired around 7:40 so my mom and Jen brought him home for bath and bed. We got home a little before 9:00.

See picture below on our loot. IT IS INSANE how much candy they got. Not at all good for the diet here!

There are a few picitures of Taylor posing and they are a little scary! My fave part of the night is to come home and seperate the candy by category and put in bags....I know its me what can I say!
Hope everyone had a great time......the picture of the turkey is Jake's school project. He had to disguise a turkey and he choose to make his an Aggie football player!

you organize and separate your candy by category (perhaps it has it's own Dewey decimal system?), and yet you want to give me grief about dressing up my dog?? Ah, it's why I love you, My Person!

Hi Kristi! I saw your comment on Dana's facebook and then found your blog on your page. I promise I wasn't trying to stalk you, lol! Anyway, remember me? "Lil Cleavelin"! Just wanted to say hello, it's been a really long time!

BTW, I LOVE Jakey's Aggie Football Turkey. I have no doubt that it was the best one (actually made BY the kid and not the parents!!).

Yes, can totally picture Uncle Ken handing out sangrias on the driveway. What a great idea! Love the costumes. The kids are way cute.
