Well, this weekend is Tate's last gymnastics meet for the season and Jake's last soccer game. Friday night we had family movie night and we watched E.T. filled with popcorn and surprises. Tate's popcorn had reese's pieces (becuase you can not watch E.T. without those) and Jake had tootsie rolls in his (or as he says toontsie bars). They loved the movie. Taylor cried so hard when he died. It is the first time in a movie where her emotions really came out. I loved it becuase I remember crying when I first saw it. We also had hair do experiment night. For her next meet her coach wants their hair done a little differently in a web style. If you know me I am not good at hair. But am rather proud of myself on this one. I am trying to leave it in to make it last until Sunday!
Jake had his last game this morning and did great! He played three quarters straight. No, there was no running but he got to play goalie his last quarter of play and loved it. He blocked two shots..we were so proud. Maddie (his friend on the team) kicked one to him (she was at the wrong goal) but it was so funny. He had a huge crowd to cheer him on as well. His Paw Paw came and coached him as goalie, Nana was there along with Uncle Jason and Brookie. Uncle Jas took on the role of picture taker for Aunt Cyn (he was so proud of himself). We decided they have to all attend whatever sport he plays b/c they brought good luck!

After the game we ran to target and walmart to buy his special treat for playing in every game at least 2 quarters (our bribery tool for the season). It was the Mickey Mouse Raceway Set and he is playing away now that I got it put together. We then went to his team party at Cici's Pizza. This was pretty much a disaster with the three kids but he got his medal and a trophy! You can see the excitement on his face. We were so proud of him.
